Cool Upgrading tail lamp to led version (oem before 2011)

Hello

Sorry for my english, im a french...
I would like to know if is it possible to upgrade the tail lamps w/o led, to the led version (oem ONLY).
I can get the OEM version with good price, that's why i ask you...
is it plug and play?

I have seen the 2012 version, but we need a recoding of the car and nobody can do it at this time

Yes, they are interchangeable with no coding required.

I have no idea what you are asking here.

Each light assembly is held by four nuts which may be 7mm. Disconnect the electrical plug and pull the assembly out. Reassemble in reverse order.

That's it.

If you are referring to the reverse light, yes. They are the same.

Hahahahaha, its quite funny
But like the others above said, everything is plug and play. Remove your current set up, and replace with your LED taillights. im sure you can reuse your bolts, light bulbs ect ect. If you need anthing else like clips, im sure everything will transfer over to the new LED lights with NO decoding. Good luck! Be sure to post pics of your old and current setup!

Oh, now I get it.

The OE LED units have five bulbs in the lamp holder but the LED turn lights are part of the tail light assembly and cannot be removed. Since the stock lights have a normal turn light bulb (non-LED), there is a socket for it with no bulb. The LEDs have a small circuit board which has two wires (red & blue with female plugs) which plug into the gray board's back side. If those two male connectors are not present, you can't plug the LEDs in, seems to me.

I just removed the lamp holder in my own car (with LEDs) to refresh my memory. Twice, in fact.

If these lights you are buying don't have the lamp holder included, you may have a problem.

Sorry for the interruption - but I have the same problems: Both the launguage and the conversion from a Std. taillight on my S204 from 2009, to a new LED taillight fra S204 facelift model, 2011.
Apparently does my right rear fog not work anylonger. I receive an error message on my display, and the right rear foglamp don't light up.
Does anyone here have experience with this ??

I have to pull your attention to the fact that mass brown cable and connector are not dimensioned properly. So check and maintain attention about this matter.

Sorry for my english, i'm a spaniard....

You don't have a right rear fog and never did. Driver's side only.
