hey guys
I am looking to vinyl flat black my chrome trim around my windows etc
I am just wondering, may I remove the vinyl whenever I want with ease later or is it like tints on the window where its a biotch to remove after a while (tear into small pieces)
thank you let me know guys and is there a good place to order them? Like a roll or something?

I have been using TrimBrites blackout tape for decades. It peals off fairly easy, sometimes it tears but no big deal. Then go over the chrome with goo gone.

I actually wrapped my chrome window trim myself and it really easy to do. The vinyl that I used has no residue when you take it off so if you don't want it anymore its comes of try easily. To apply just place a piece larger than the actual chrome and use a hairdryer to make sure it sticks. Then cut away at the seems at the end of the chrome trim. For curves, vinyl can bend and reform under heat so when you do the upper trim, use a little force and a lot of heat to "stretch" the vinyl around the corners. If you want to do a good job don't rush, take your time and when you want to cut the excess, go as slow as possible. For wrinkles, you just have to apply enough heat and a little pressure from your fingers to eliminate them.

Trick is heat and to go slow. Definitly do not try it on a cold day. I used a plastic squegee (not spelt right) to push the excess behind the chrome and under the rubber. It isn't hard but it can be frustrating.

How hard/easy is to remove these trim pieces, so that you can try to plastidip them? I would suck with trying to applying vinyl and stuff I am sure.
