New (used) shoes for my C350 - 18" Forgestar F14 Brushed Titanium

Got these over the weekend from a nice gentleman on this forum. He even helped with mounting them on.
Front 245/40/18
Rear 275/35/18
Got some rub when I hit even small bumps with a two guys in the car. I may go with a bit more narrower rubber to avoid the rub?
If I don't hit a bump, I'm good but living in NY there's plenty of bumps or potholes.
What do you guys think about Front 235/40/18 Rear 265/35/18? Will it give me the same effect as the ones I have on now?
I'll take better pics when I get a chance. And yes I know, car needs a wash.

Thanks Jlee! I like the black rims on your car.
I think I will have to go smaller than what I have on now. Damn, I like that wide *** look too.
I'll probably order the new rubbers this week and have them installed this weekend.

Thinking about the Sumitomo HTR Z III. Now just a question on the size.

Rubbing a bit only on bumps on the right front and a bit in the right rear. So I'll prob order the Sumitomo's in 235/265. Will the rub with what i'm experiencing with 245/275?

You're a Genius!
I guess if I was in your position- I would have considered it. You were able to see them before buying and he even helped you install. I would have had to have them shipped.
You Still Suck!

Yeah, those rubbers you have now are mighty meaty. I've run HTR Z III before and for the price point, they're excellent rubbers.
