Hey guys and gals. I had just bought a '08 Black C350 sport w/ AMG Package two weeks ago and have been lurking on the forums since. I'm up in Bellevue, Wa. So far love the car. Coming from a Supercharged Honda S2000. I'm still in the learning stage of the car and have read a lot of good info here on the forums. There are a few things I have planned for the car. Thanks and good meeting you guys.

@Domm- I been reading the forms and got my command software updated from my SA. I also just had done the X-pipe mod. Next on my list is the C63 Carbon fiber diffuser w/ quad tips and a carbon fiber front diffuser to tie it all in.
@Sportstick- So far I love this 350. It's not as sporty as a 2 door sports car but it'll do. I'm not a fan of the way MB made the Navi to not work while driving, the Ipod integration do suck, the lagg on acceleration due to drive by wire so just the same complaints as everyone else in that department. I do however like the new design of the '08.
@Papshango hows your transition from the 350z to the c350?

If you try to enter a destination while driving it won't let you - "Function Unavailable While Vehicle is in Motion."
This is not a MB thing, it's a US road safety law, all cars with Navi in the US for model year (I think) 2008 and on have this limitation. You can save the destination and select that while driving, you just can't enter them with letters.
My father's 07 Benz does not have this limitation and therefore he has stayed away from the Command update.

Yea like everyone was saying using the navi while moving is what I was referring too. DVD in motion is not a big deal for me since i will hardly ever use it. I might do what eliteskill said to get the VIM adaptor. That will be near last on my list of mods to do. Its not that big of a deal since you can still use voice control to do whatever you need. Anyone know of a decent place to shop for diffusers? This is my first MB so everything to me is brand new.
Thanks for all the warm welcome. I will post pictures as soon as I can.

ktran350, if you don't care for CF diffuser, I would go and ask in the C63 forum and asked around if anyone have one for sale? Alot of C63 guys upgrade to the CF. If you want CF I think we have to 2 sponsor sellers in this forum, you can send them PM or you can look on Ebay but most of them are oversea. I got some quad tips for sale if you interested. I sent you PM.

I don't think I will be doing any performance mods. The most I will do will be small cosmetic mods with the major ones being front/rear diffuser w/ quad tips. The wheels are replicas? I read the print out of what the car was equipped with and it says AMG 19 inch wheels but these don't have the AMG stamp? Oh well.
