Thanks Doanster for the post on changing the rotors. However you refer to using a torque wrench but don't specify the torque settings for the lug and caliber bolts. Can some one enlighten me with the settings?

'08 C350 143K miles
Thanks for the post. I drive the hell out of my cars and this C350 is no different. I have 143K on original brakes/rotors/tranny fluid which I'm changing now for the first time.
I have around 30-40% life on the pads, and the rotors are warped (from braking very fast down to 70) which is why I'm changing them. These cars last a long time and are very durable. I appreciate all the DIY posts for saving me hours!

K what? 143,000 miles, or 143km? If you're claiming you got 143,000 miles and have over 1/3 pads left, call Guinness, because you just got more life out of brakes than anyone ever has... And why you would want to go 143,000 miles without giving the transmission the fluid change that it needs is beyond comprehension.
