L shape side mark light!!
Isnt illega to remove amber side mark light to change led shape light in new york?

It's shouldn't be a problem . I had my side marker black out with a white bulb in it on my last car and I didn't get any problem with it. As long as it not red or blue.. its ok. I'm just talking in my area since I don't know how strict the cops are out there.

Sorry car was filthy when I took these pics it had just stopped raining a short while before I installed them. I haven't really taken any pics of the car since.
