2008 C200 rear left indicator and rear right brake light stays on
I am having a strage issue since this morning, I had a warning in the meter console for right turn signal not working but when I switched of my car, the left indicator stays on and also the right brake lights.. Any suggestions what went wrong and whats the problem.. HOw to have it resolved please advise. Thanks.

Took the car to workshop and the guy says your Fuse box which is in the trunk part # 2045453901, is blown and you need to replace it..
Is it something to believe or he is trying to rip me off.

These things are expensive. It might be blown but it might also just be corrupted. First step is to re-program & initiate. If that fails then replace which also requires programming with Star.

I don't see tail light cluster connect to the rear SAM directly. The wire and what you say confuse me.

See the W203 Wiki for how a CanBus operates.

You have no wiring diagram as you are used to because a Canbus carries multiple signals in multiple directions simultaneously if necessary.

There you go, if all else fails.
That is $225 plus free shipping. Dealer price is $500+

You really need a Star to work on the SAM. Sometimes it's just the software flash that has become corrupted.

I see the thread about "DIY: REAR SAM low cost repairing", and I'll try to reset rear SAM.If that not work,I'll find a used rear SAM or goto a Star like you said.
When I have time,I will see the thread "DIY: REAR SAM low cost repairing" again, and I'll try to repair rear SAM.
