Always dip slowly and lay to dry with the visible side up. Pre clean all surfaces with Naphtha to remove all traces of oil, grease, and wax, NEVER WITH THE ABOVE THINNER! I would not do your side markers. Paint and shoot clear to match body color instead. In fact, I was into plasti-dip when I was a kid too. Total waste as it chips off and peels off especially after a few hot and cold seasons. Good luck... but you'll see!

You could try VHT Nightshades, but it comes out pretty dark. You can usually find it a local autoparts store.

OK so here's the deal...apparently plastic dip is used very often and bought in bulk...but I managed to get three cans from Lowes yesterday...thx...today I painted the grill and the side marker lights...when pealing off I messed up a lil on the grill but u can only tell from really up close...I think I did a pretty good job for my first time...I'm def satisfied with the little changes...can't wait till I get wheels and spoilers!! I'm gonna try and post the pics

looks good from a distance, but hard to critique without getting up close. Still, if you're happy with it, that's all that matters as most likely, only you will notice and know about defects in the job.
