Your Wife is hot. I mean the car. Looks awesome. You do need to change that side marker to tinted to finish the look. It looks like an orange peel on a freshly paved tar road.

Yes..it is monotone, but sticks out much more than your average C class. Everyone looks.

Yet you continue to tell people to drop the chrome accents (as did you) from their cars (black even). Interesting inconsistency there.

I had a black car with black interior....once. I remember roasting like a turkey until the A/C could make it habitable again. That, and trying to keep it looking clean and not swirled...never again. Good luck to the OP...maybe it doesn't ever get quite that hot in Montreal in the summer?

Well, I disagree. There are levels to this, that some believe can be tastefully done without the need to go to the extreme. My interior isn't black, my windows haven't been tinted black (although I'm thinking about a light tint), my wheels aren't black (this mod has the most impact IMO and will never be done), my window trim isn't black (maybe in the future... maybe???), my door handles aren't fully black (chrome tops-push button Start), my grille hasn't been blacked out (another mod I will never do)etc etc etc... Just those silly double sided taped-on lower door chrome trim strips... such a disruption to the sleek lines of the car... I feel the designer didn't pen them there originally, especially in the sport trim model...these strips don't carry along into the front and rear bumpers like on the luxury trim models or in their higher end models... so they were removed, permanently.

(It's just a matter of taste. I'll admit, I'm old fashioned. The whole blacked out look is very popular, it's just not me!)

MBRedux, your car is beautiful - the contrast of the two cars in your last post says it all, yours looks like a $50K car, the other looks like an outdated $25K car...All a matter of opinion of course, but tough to argue when seeing them together...Just not getting this whole rattle can of flat black crap looking good to anyone, especially on really nice wheels - makes them look small and dirty to me...

I only keep my cars for 6 months and I like the look. It's cool that certain people dislike it, that's what style and fashion is all about.

This, a thousand times this. People like me are looking at these cars, staring at them, but not for good reasons. I wonder if that puts us in the minority or the majority? Problem is you can't poll a car forum like this because many of the people here think that looks good. I think if you polled a large sampling of people you would get a verrry large percent who are staring for all the wrong reasons. I am very conservative with regards to mods though, so maybe I'm crazy!
