I need help, Please for the love of god, someone help me!

I have a 2009 c300 4matic.
Today something unexpected happened and I can be really honest I feel so sad.
Being 19 years old working since i was 16 saving up for this nice car. It is my first car and i can honestly say im regretting it.
I was volunteering at a Vietnamese/Buddhist school, got there at 11:00 am and did my usual saturday work till 3pm. Everything was fine and great, until i drove next to the school to a buddhist temple parked there for about 30 mins to do some prays for my grandfather whom has passed away. I walked out to my car and all a sudden the car wouldnt start.
First thing i did, was jump the car because i thought the battery died. Jumped it nothing happened.
Second thing i did was check the fuses to see if there is a possibility of a blown fuses, the front fuse box nothing was blown. However the rear fuse box had 1 blown fuse it was a 15 amp fuse in slot 71 i believe, it was something "socket front". So then i thought that might be the problem, replaced the fuse, nothing happened.
At this point i started to take out my dmm and did battery voltage testing and heres what i found.
Battery Voltage : 12.46, after jump 13.09
I did some more observation and heres what i found.
Fuses 1-19 had no flow of electricity.
Dome lights works at usual.
Radio works.
Dash works.
Sidemarkers work.
Eyebrow lights work.
adjustable seats work.

Low beam doesnt work
High beam doesnt work
power windows doesnt work
window wipers doesnt work

It doesnt make any sense to me, using common mechanic knowledge that i have. If its a battery problem then all of the above shouldnt work. On the flip side, all of them should work as well, it doesnt take much to power the windows or windows wipers. So I am leaning more towards a starter issue, but i keep thinking to myself if it a starter issue wouldnt fuses 1-19 one of them will work? If its a starter problem then the power windows shouldnt be effected? I was reading on forums and ive seen some people having this issue and they brought it to the dealer, unfortunately for me 2 months ago i found out that my warranty has expired. I am hesitant to bring it to the dealer because i simply dont want to see my hard work money blown when it could be just a simple problem.

I have a few things in mind and i was hoping people on forums can help me out.
Option #1. replace battery
Option #2. Replace starter
Option #3 replace ignition starter (where the key goes)

Option1 = might not even the battery problem
Option 2/3 = it sounds expansive.
Option 4 (Bring it to the dealer) = peace in mind and might not be as expansive as you think of.

Maybe the EIS? I think that the car needs to be able to switch to the "On" position for the windows/wipers to work. I haven't seen this happen on a '09 yet, but it is the time when these start developing issues if they are indeed faulty.

You can take the advice of one of the Moderators, Glyn: "First check fuses 31, 52, 57 for start enable. Fuse 52 has been uprated from 15 to 20 amps."

Good luck

Keep us posted on what you find...Being that the windows and stuff do not seem to work would seem like a fuse or a relay issue if you have full power. Can you get to acc? I am not familiar with MB start up cycle but being that everything is on a electrical circuit, there must be a fuse somewhere that is causing this issue or a relay.

Could be the electonic steering lock also. Better off taking to dealer so you're not guessing.

Exactly what i was thinking, because i checked all of the fuses none seems to be blown, so my next guess is a relay, so imma start checking all the relays when i get home from work. Ill keep you guys posted. OH! i got it towed home so its not sitting in a random parking lot.
Like i said earlier, going to the dealer is probably the best idea. but unfortunately for me i dont want to bring it to the dealer until its a major issue.
Im going to check all the relay, check ohms through each wires if i cant find anything then i will take it to the dealer.

You need to either read codes on this car with an OBDII scanner or Star. It will stop a lot of guessing. It could be many things from EIS to a partially blown or corrupted SAM.

Is both the EIS and ESL a common problem on Mercedes-Benz? Is this something I need to be prepared about?

You haven't mention if you have any messages on your dash board display, it looks like you have a defective ignition switch, good luck and keep us posted.

Hi,

From my work experience if your remote is working then not a major problem but if it is not then a big issue. How the EIS(EZS) work is that remote control central locking is control from EIS, the ESL is controlled from EIS, and all the SAM modules get power by EIS via the CGW gateway. A second hand unit wont do a job coz it needs to be coded according to the chassis number. Depending on your location where you are it can be sorted but I would advise as a an auto locksmiths specialising in mercedes keys just take it to dealers coz that is wat involves very professional skills and electronic experience.

Regards

Jim
