Quad Exhaust 2012 C250 (JB+ Tune & Intake)
Hey guys, I posted this over in the C204 forum, but figured, maybe some sedan C250 owners would be curious to know a bit of the mods I have done to my vehicle.
I removed the factory resonator and muffler, and off the catalytic converter I have a single magnaflow magnapack, followed by a y-pipe to feed the quad exhaust, and have retrofitted an OEM 2012 C63 diffuser.
I also got around to taking a video of the exhaust revs, with the quad exhaust installed, and a video of the JB tune and intake (pre-exhaust mods). I plan on getting around to doing another drive-by video and also doing another 0-60 video now with all my modifications (vs. the stock video I have).
Quad Exhaust:
JB Tune & Intake:
Enjoy!

Thanks for the feedback. I would definitely recommend this mod. Much cheaper to do on current 2012 generations then previous 2008-2011 since the OEM diffuser can easily be found for $200 (free shipping) and a set of chrome quad tips only cost $180 (pre-fabbed including y-pipes).
Also, I just finished doing another 0-60 video of my C250 after my tune, intake and exhaust work. You can hear how it sounds while driving and during shifts (awesome), also, this is with all the windows closed:

@ Boris: Yeah, I love the sound of the turbo, especially on WOT shifts. I live on Long Island in Suffolk County, so not really near Westchester; haha. Thanks for the compliments.

[quote=jctevere;5288000]Yes, they will work. As long as you get a C63 diffuser to allow for two tips on each side to fit.
I'm working on getting the c63 diffuser. I noticed the tips were stainless steel. I was planning on having an exhaust shop remove the stock single tips from the OEM mufflers and then welding on the stainless steel ones, but noticed that where would be a difference in material. Do you know if it can still be done? I have a limited budget to work with so replacing the mufflers with magnaflows or anything of that sort isn't feasible right now.

You can still weld even though the tips are stainless steel. Additionally, I'm also pretty confident that the stock OEM piping is stainless steel (although not polished).
I bought the diffuser off eBay for around $200 if my memory serves me correctly. You can find it anywhere though as it is the OEM 2012 C63 diffuser.
And as far as the tune goes, gains are up to 20 hp to the wheels and 40 torque to the wheels from 2500 to 4500rpm according to the dyno burger tuning has performed. Peak HP hasn't really increased much.
As far as my impressions, turbo lag is much improved, there is an awesome blow-off sound now. The car pulls much stronger from 2,000-4,000 rpm and it makes the ride much more "enjoyable". Definitely worth it - not to mention that the mod is relatively cheap at $280 and is very simple to install.

Man, I was all set on ordering a 2013 300 early next year, now i'm thinking about going the 250 route..
On the butt dyno what is quicker feeling/more fun - 2012 250 or a previous year 300?

I would still get the 2013. They quietly bumped the power for the 300 engine. Word on the street it is actually a de-tuned and slightly modified 350 DI engine. Perhaps a tune will eek out a C350 4matic?

Was the BOV-like sound due to the intake? I watched your other vid of your intake and it was that making the BOV-like sound...
