Problem after installing c63 seats

Hi

I swapped my interior with c63 seats, but im getting errors in both seats because of avtive headrests, but the C63 doesnt have any headrest's?? And because of the headrest problem the seats activates PRE-SAFE and i cant move the seat all the way forward

The memory and other adjustments works without any problems

Do i need resistors to simulate the headrest's? Or maybe coding so the car knows there is c63 seats in the car, but maybe it wont accept that coding since its not a c63

most likely requires recoding through STAR to disable function

Getting the 63 seats on my 300 was the first thing that came to mind when i got this car. Love those seats, it was of my favorite things on the c63 we had. As far as the issue, you probably just going to need re-coding

Yeah they are super comfy the c63 seats and a really nice feature that you can adjust the sideflaps on them since my wife that drives the car most of the time is really skinny but i will try recoding tomorrow and hope it can solve the problem

Can you post some photos? I intended to do so. How much did you pay for 2 front seats? If you can solve the problem with recoding please let me know. Thanks!

Sure will make a build thread in a few days of the car..

I payed about 2700$ for the complete interior frontseats, door panels and rear seats.

Coding was not possible my friend at mb wasnt allowed to give it coding 250 for the amg seats since my vin number didnt match a amg so now i have found the 2 wires for the headrest and then im gonna put some resistors on them

I intend to change 2 front seats only.
$2700 for whole set of C63 interior is a very good price.
What is the differences between stock door panel and C63 panel? I thought they are the same.

They are the same, but i didnt have leather interior to begin with but black fabric, and i swapped everything to a very light beige now so the door panels needed to match in color

Hopefully the problem should be solved next week, i have ordered some resistors now that is normally used when you install aftermarket headrest's with monitors to make the car think the neck-pro system is still active so that should hopefully shut up the system
