Just bought replacement seats for my 2010 w204 and they are heated. I'm told that the wiring is already in place and all I have to do is attach it to the switches behind my new switch panel (which has the heated seat buttons).

Is that true or will I need an autoelectrician?

Yes they're from the same car and model etc - it's just that they have leather and heated seats whereas mine were fabric.

Seats and switch panel now fitted but wiring for heated seats is NOT present! Any ideas?

I question whether any unused wires are present anywhere since MB said (some years back) it stopped the practice to save money.

Since there are two seat heat buttons on the dash, aren't there two controllers?

Enjoyed my heated seats just today.
