This app should go nicely along with this mod. I still haven't gotten to install my adapter yet. AstonBnX, any other way to tap into reverse via the command or gear shifter rather than going all the way back to the tail laight?

I'll let you know how you can do it. Please give me some more time. As you know that free and simple solution is going all the way back to the tail light.
Mercedes Canbus Atmel
Here is my lastest prototype. For your solution, there is one NJM2244 video switch chip, and there is one Atmel328 for cheap solution rather than using PIC32. After finishing the prototype i'will tell you.

I'm on your topic and looking for any available module to read gear position. In fact, i have a solution by using my module. I managed to read Gear positions. I think, i have to add some extra circuit to my module then it will be a solution for you.

Hi aznmode, okay thank you for give me the time.. I have FL w204, don't worry about this. The most of MB cars are using same canbus protocol and data in canbus mostly are the same each other.

Mobile Internet?
Here is the link for Ezcast module i used. Of course there is HDMI 2 AV converter, you can find my previous posts how you are going to connect it to Comand.

I have retrofitted NTG 4.5 in pre-facelift S204 (changing complete dashboard) and this could be the next step because bluetooth isn't working on my comand.

AstronBnX, when the mobile phone is connected over Wifi to the Airplay/DLNA Unit, will the phones' mobile internet still work for google maps and streaming music???

Why did he disassemble the whole interior? You don't have to, just the dashboard. The aluminium support structure underneath can stay in the car.. never seen someone disassemble that much
Btw. He had the brushed aluminium style interior before and now has piano black style. In my setup it's vice versa, I had black before and now I'm having one silver line.. in the car

Hi again,
Here is my solution for NTG4.0 to switch automatic from Android view to rear cam view.
First, you have to buy video switch module link is given at below.
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/camer...231634872.html
1- Intelligent video switcher
2- Video input for VCD/DVD/MP4 (yellow connector )
3- Video input for parking sensor and rear view camera(red connector )
4- Video output yellow connector
5- Parking line ( red wire)
6- GND line (black wire)
Power voltage: DC+ 12v
So, you have now 2 Video inputs and 1 video output for Comand NTG4.0, because NTG4.0 has only 1 video input. To install VS (video switcher), you have to directly connect RED wire to REAR LAMP of your car. This means, when the rear lamp of your car is on, VS will choose number 3 Video input for output otherwise 4 will defaultly be selected.
You also need to disable REAR cam from your Comand NTG4.0. Go to Engineering menu by pressing HangDown (Red button) + # button + 1 button then go to SW settings and find Rear cam, select it as disable to active VIDEO AUX on Comand screen, if you don't do this, it will switch automaticly when you are Rear drive mode.

I already have the SW some time today was to ride but can not cause the SW work ... Only if you have improperly connected GND .
Where have called their wires ?
thank you

Dear AstroBiX, can it be done in a A-CLASS (A250) ? do you have information about how to disassemble the panel and everything? I don't know how to do it and I'm a little worried to damage the car

I used this module http://indiwork.co.kr/shop/hd-link/h.../?currency=USD together with a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/...ctID.308216600.
My phone is Samsung Galaxy S6. I connect to the Microsoft Adapter wirelessly via Miracast protocol. The Microsoft Adapter plugged into the IW04M module. The IWo4M module is connected to the COMAND screen via a digital connection using LVDS cable. The resolution is 800x480. Sound is via AUX connection. The car is a W212 2015 E63S AMG Wagon.

Hey - so to anyone that has done this. I have a 2011 C250 and dont have any standard AUX input (only MMI and USB). So this seems like my only option.
I will buy the FAKRA to RCA cable for the video AUX input on back of COMAND unit. Then I understand to get the audio AUX input, you splice/wiretap into the wires indicated in this post.
So I just cut the ends of 2 Female AUX inputs, wire them into the tapped harness, then I have 3 AUX inputs to plug in any RCA device?
Anything I am missing?
I have the VIM harness to install to, so as suggested I will tap into the Audio in on that, not the Stock Harness.
Also what about the AUX GND that was mentioned, how do I ground each cable...wont the RCA when stripped only have 1 cable?
