Can you refer to the manual page that claims ESP issues being fuel problem related? Are you not referring to an EPC fault message? Whcih MY car is it (is it really a W204?)? Any other background would not harm (forum members skip your questions if you don't bother to provide the background info). I also read you were expecting answers within two minutes, most often it would take more than two minutes to write a complete comment.

Could be the fuel filler cap is loose or not properly sealed. Normally the yellow "Check Engine Light" should illuminate.

You can purchase pirated MB EPC-WIS Cds on Ebay for about $30 US/AUS.

Is that you selling those DVDs? Otherwise I don't understand why to promote some illegal items. If one decided to use an illegal copy, I would consider it better to download it from some "pirate bay" for free instead of paying for someone who is not allowed to sell them. But I thought this site should not promote either option.

Faced with the option of having absolutely no workshop information available about my car or buying it on line from a pirate I have chosen the latter . I sleep well every night.

MB do not offer any option to purchase any manual in Aust. For the life of me I cannot see how I am doing any one down !!!!!

Do you have a workshop manual if so what was its source?

Hercules asked where he could obtain a manual . I have told him & am pleased to do so.

As far as your comment re the site promotion ,you are now being ridiculous. Have a look in the mirror.

You are making yourself out to be a very righteous individual but I welcolme your opinion........................

This:

Plus WIS and EPC access via the local MB club (some 35 Euros per year for a club membership fee).

Did you read my message carefully? I did not exclude the illegal option, not my task to watch after those, MB has enough lawyers to do that. My point was the advice not to pay for a thief if one decides to take this path.

Thanks about your polite and constructive feedback.

Please get hold of an OBDII scanner & scan for codes & pending codes. Post them for us to have a look at. Lets at least diagnose what's wrong.
