'09 C300 eyelid light bulb holder problem
Hi All,
I recently got my C300 serviced and when it came back, the holder (so it seems) for the eyelid lightbulb was missing. It's a long story, but essentially the repair shop said they knew nothing about it.
Is there an "official" name for what the light-bulb holder is called? I'm trying to find a replacement online for it, but I guess I'm not using the proper terminology so I can't find it.
I'm talking about the plastic part that actually the holds the light bulb in place. The lightbulb itself currently works because all the circuitry is there, its just that the part holding the actual bulb in its socket is missing. I hope this makes sense!

09' eyelid bulb socket
Hi:
I have a similar problem. I do have the socket holder, but it is melted to the actual holder and now it became one piece that comes out entirely. *I hope this makes sense.
Did you ever get a solution? I think the name is just "front parking light bulb socket."
Here are two pictures of my left eyelids. The outer one is good, but the inner it's the one with the problem as you can see.
If anyone else know what are my options please advise
Thanks.

Still no solution...
Still haven't gotten a reply yet at all- I just figured I would get it checked out the next time I got maintenance performed at the dealership and hopefully they'd be able to come up with a cheap replacement part.
I think my eyelid light socket looks more like the other pic you posted. Pretty much the eyebulb holder is gone and the light turns on, but just flops around inside without the holder holding it in place.... really wish I could explain this better lol.
Let me know if you find a site with some parts!

Take a picture if you can and post it. I found this link, I don't know about its credibility if the website, but there is a picture that shows the grey part where it keeps everything in place I think.
Check it out
