There is a ton involved. I've looked into doing a retrofit of the audio50 like the second one (stock unit and screen) into my 230 and I've decided to hold off for a bit. You have to replace the venting system behind the screen and deck. You also have to remove the steering wheel and column to run a fan unit. Huge cluster ****. As for the after market units I don't think I'd want to do that. Prob won't work like you want it too. Figure $1500-2gs for all the oem parts then your time and effort if you know what you doing or have the ***** to rip apart half of the dash in the Benz.

I know you can get touch screen overlays that will fit the pop out screens. You can search on youtube for w204 touch screens and see some examples.

Where to get the overlays and what size, I don't know. I'm trying to figure this out as well.

It would be nice if someone can come up with an updated screen for the pop out system, but I believe because it is a pop up screen, nobody wants to deal with making an after market product.

use the search, and youll find the info needed...i did mine bout a year and half ago...there is a thread that list what parts you need, along with a diagram on how to rewire...you do not need to do what 6-speed is talking about...

Apparently that Jewellet.com one has a big box for the GPS that needs to be mounted in the glove box. But there was one that a guy on here installed and worked out great. The NAVI he installed was http://www.sinowholesaler.com/7high-...180-p-222.html and the thread showing his install progress is https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...t-gps-mp3.html

The only thing i don't like about the one from sinowholesaler.com is that the original screen is mounted where the ashtray is. I'm trying to find one that have NAVI and all that jazz in the unit itself and is in place of the old screen without having to keep the old screen or having to hide a big bulky box somewhere.
