MISHA Designs - New Mercedes C-class wide body kit!
Almost a year ago we did some wide body renderings on the Mercedes C-class and finally in December of 2012 we started bringing it to life.
At SEMA 2012 we spoke to our friend Alec Johnston from www.SeventhWing.com, A broker for exotic automobiles, and gave us a referral to someone who was willing to let us use their C-class for our prototype.
One week later, he shows up in our shop with a red C class coupe from our very dear friend Kayla Jane AKA "Danger Doll". When we first found out who the owner of the car was, we knew that this would be one of the most interesting projects so far. So stay tuned and check back for an interesting photo shoot on the building process that will follow in few days.
Misha Designs C class wide body kit will be available for all C and C63 models from 2008 to present , both coupe and 4 door versions.

Looks good, but only if they could tone down the bulkiness of the front bumper especially. Pay attention to more detail, kind of like Merc does with the BS.

Looks sick! I would also prefer one with DRL. I assume you guys are making your own headlights from the looks of it. Sold separately? Either way i'll be taking a look at it, hopefully the cost is within my budget.

actually it is never our idea to copy the original design but to create our own, this is a copy of the black series c class

I don't think Hotel is saying you're copying, just that the kits are quite similar so what will stand out from yours? Materials? Cost?

The kits you are referring to are EXACT replicas of the factory C63 black series.
The difference between our C class wide body kit and the black series replica is the same like the difference between our SL wide body kit and the SL black series replica kits.
Misha Designs is following its own style that was started in early 2010 with the SL wide body kit and then continued with the CLS in mid 2011.
You will see the differences much better on the finished product than on the rendering.

Looks pretty similar aside from the splitter on the bottom, the headlights which I doubt Misha will be able to make, rear trunk spoiler, rear diffuser, exhaust tips, and rear side vents.

Just from those pics alone you can tell it isn't going to be the same. The Misha fenders stick out and look awesome with the side skirt. As far as price is concerned i highly doubt they will charge 12k ish, so that's also more appealing. (keep in mind this is a C class no point charging 30% of the car's total worth just for a body kit)
P.S The spoiler looks weird to me, i liked it in the render. Hopefully the finished product changes my mind.

Still working on the DRL solution
We would like to have them as standard but also to be an option for the customer to easily remove them and still get a good looking bumper.
So far with the Porsche kits we went with a OEM LED option but that is very costly in the Mercedes line up.
So far we did not find a good looking aftermarket product that would fit the application.
Will keep you updated...
