I searched this forum but no luck. So does anyone know which one works on a 2010 W204? Autozone had to try two before they could read my code. Thanks.

Equus Innova CAN/OBDII scanners work very well. 3130 etc.

If you have an android phone, there's an app called Torque that sync with a blue tooth obd (elm 327). It can read codes and has a bunch of other features.
