2009 C350 Sport fog light - OEM?

Hi, friends. I have a 2009 C350 w/Sport front end that I bought used a few months ago. My driver's side fog light lens is cracked. In looking closely at both of them, it appears the driver's side lens is older than the passenger side, but other than that they are identical.
The bulbs inside are HID, and appear to be aftermarket.
My question is, are the lenses/housings OEM? I am looking for a replacement, and I see on eBay the "AMG" housings are around $100, while the non-AMG housings are around $35. Of course I want to make sure I am getting the right one. In case it doesn't show in the pictures, both lenses are imprinted with "Hella" in the center.

On another note, the bulbs themselves work intermittently. Sometimes the right one works and the left doesn't , and sometimes the left one works and the right doesn't, and sometimes they both work. There doesn't appear to be any pattern to this. Is it just unreliable ballasts perhaps? Any input here is appreciated as well.

Thanks so much for the help!

Hella should be the OEM. Just looked at mines right now and I've never had replaced them.

Someone else should have and insight on the flickering.

This and that.
Well intermittent working is normal. They are supposed to work as you turn the steering wheel. The direction you turn the steering wheel too illuminates that side's fog light. It's a feature that MB has. Perhaps that's what you're talking about?

The driver side is not older than the passenger side. Because it cracked, dirt and moisture got into it to make it look yellow and hazy thus giving it an "old" appearance.

How did you do that? Mine is cracked and I am contemplating either upgrading to LED or just OEM.

What parts do I need to buy for LED conversion? I can just take it to a local shop to have them installed because I don't think I will be able to do it myself.

Actually it was like that from the day I bought it. A very distinct difference between them, with the drivers side clearly being older. The crack just happened a few days ago. I had actually been considering replacing the drivers side before the crack because they looked so different. Probably the passenger side cracked some time ago and the previous owner replaced it.

Just so I'm clear - there is a difference between the fog lights on the standard W204 and those with the Code 772 AMG Styling Package, correct?

Is there a way to get them both to come on and stay on while driving straight? I can see my reflection on the trunk of shiny cars in front of me occasionally, and even with the wheels straight, I can see one light is on and one is off.
Maybe it's not a big deal, but the lack of symmetry bugs me.

Does your car have Bi-Xenon headlights and the P2 package? That is the only way you would have the adaptive foglights.
There are 2 foglight shapes on the W204 C-Class. Oval on the Luxury models and Round on the Sports with the Code 772 AMG Styling Package.

Yes, Bi-Xenon lights. I don't see any "P2 package" listed in the VIN report, though. What is that? Here's the lighting elements in the VIN report:
614 BI-XENON HEADLAMPS FOR RIGHT-HAND TRAFFIC
619 CORNERING ILLUMINATION

And, as you can see in the pictures posted, the lights are round.
So I guess that begs another question - what is this fog light below? If there's only one kind of round foglight, will this one work? Is it significantly cheaper just because it's not OEM?

Based on what I've seen listed, I was under the impression there are two options for round fog lights - one for the "standard" front end, and one for the "AMG Sport" front end.

Cornering Illumination is exactly what I was talking about. It is designed to assist you with providing more light while taking corners at night.

If you want them both on, grab your headlight knob, which is to the left of your steering wheel and turn it to the right all the way and pull it up ONCE. The fog lights will stay on at all times.

Does anyone know how to disable cornering illumination.
