Hi All, New to the forums.

I just jumped ship to an '11 C300 Sport Sedan from an '06 BMW 325I.

I want to get rolling with my mods, however I did have one question in particular that I couldn't seem to find a solid answer on.

I am looking to convert my dual exhaust to quad exhaust. My understanding is that the diffusers modeled for the C63 are interchangeable with the C300 by changing the "brackets".

Aside from the tips, would this part serve the purpose?

I believe you can get that part and C63 brackets then you should be good to go besides getting your tips.

 

I did mine not long ago. You really don't need the brackets; a couple of hex bolts work just as well and will save you $100. Search this forum for posts by "slo2171". Excellent fairly inexpensive mod. The 2012 diffuser is different than the previous C300/350. Also, I think the AMG diffuser only works on the C300 Sport, not Luxury.

 

Yes, I have come to terms with this harsh reality. It does not work with the Luxury.

 

SO you need

-Hex bolts
-AMG tips.. see many sourced from Ebay
-OEM C63 diffuser or 1 like the OP posted from ebay that fits a c63/c350/c300 etc. (but make sure its made for 08-11 or 12+ cars to fit your needs).

 

There's a vendor on here that sells y pipes with the quad tips welded on as well as the c63 diffuser for facelift rear bumper and pre facelift.

 

I recommend getting the quad tips that are already welded with the Y-pipe. It took me a while to find a shop that would do the custom welding.

thanks guys that helps a bunch. I was getting nervous, MB dealer was telling me I'd need the AMG bumper as well. But it sounds like as long as I have the sport sedan I am fine.

If anyone knows who this vendor is, I'd rather buy from a known source than a fabricator in Taiwan...
