I have been looking for an affordable CF or CF overlay lip for a 2011-2012 facelift c300 model. anyone have any leads on where I can find one?

As far as I have searched, there is the JL motoring one ($400), and one offered here by a forum member for $300. The JL motoring one looks better in my opinion, and has gotten decent reviews. Haven't looked into the other one. Search for the thread, i think it may still be on the first page of threads.

I got mine from him and it's much cheaper than JL Motoring...

Last time I asked Gary- the Lip he had for the facelift C-Class required extensive cutting to make it fit. I would try the JL-Motoring or 3A-Motors has on on ebay:

Any lip you get for the facelift will require some work to make it fit. The advantage with Gary's lip is that I have detailed pictures of what needs to be done.

If it requires work to make it fit- it's not designed properly. I had a Euroteck REAL Carbon Fiber Lip on my 2008 and it fit perfectly and was flawless. It was over 5 years old when I totaled the car and it was still in fantastic condition. I'm not "making it fit"- that's their job.

I agree. I am buying a mod at a defined price because I believe the part will fit correctly. If I'm buying at a discounted price than I am willing to deal with the adjustments needed.

The lip gary,jl motoring, and any lip that is that style all comes from the same manufacture. Well thats what gary told me when i spoke to him. Dont really understand the logic of producing a lip that doesnt have a perfect fit.

No doubt. It fits or it doesn't. That is why I buy or I don't.
Perfect fitment is necessary.

I just went ahead and purchased the one from JL Motoring. I will keep you guys posted on whether or not it fits properly.

Wanted to give an update. I went ahead and did a dry fit today and it appears The JL Motoring one fits perfectly. From the looks of it, they cut the lip already. I will do a formal fit next week and let you guys know how it works.

I sure will. It looks like the middle will be posted on with double sided tape, while the sides are put on with mounting screws.

Update:
I couldn't wait for Invain15.
I contacted both Gary@Suvneer and JL-Motoring and got confirmation that the Suvneer one required cutting while JL-Motoring does not.

I now have the JL-Motoring version on order.

Putting mine on today. The JL Motoring lip is pre cut already and looks to be a perfect fit.

Fits perfect. One of the easiest installs. You put double sided tape in the middle and screws support the side.

Beautiful, looks great. Are you going to cover up that white strip just above the lip? I've seen some people do it, but others leave it like that.

Also, how do you like those headlights?
