Went back to STOCK Spring Pads w/ Super Sport (Removed Thinner Ones) - WAY BETTER NOW
Put my Stock spring pads back on this past weekend, removed the crappy thin ones and man, does the ride feel more normal and less harsh and bouncy.
Also, when looking from rear it does not look like I have 4 Fat chicks sitting in the back and weighing down the car
whoever recommended putting in the thinner Spring pads in the rear:
Now my gap is normal and front and rear match.
Before the rear tucked and looked super sloppy and ricey. Now all even all the way around and the proper rake is attained, while still being super low and aggressive.
I originally thought I needed the thinner pads because other members said it looked better and the rear was not "low enough" without them. I assumed they were needed to match the front lowering, but I was wrong and hated them.
Finally happy with my suspension.
Also added 5mm spacers in the rear, and they are perfect with no rubbing on stock 18" AMG wheels and give a slightly beefier stance.

Glad to hear you like the change.
I may have been one of the members you listened to.....
My stock rear end looked "jacked up" and putting the 5 mm springs pads in the rear leveled things out.
Maybe the Super Sports had something to do with the uneveness?

Your calling his car a 4x4 was derogative, and could have been phrased better.
Most W204 owners would not equate stock or small drop models as 4x4's.

I think he's saying your car is "4x4" as in not low and saying you have a big clearance gap as a 4x4 would have. Don't think he was saying anything about implying your car was 4matic. Just trying to burn you lol

Well that troll failed miserably. Calling a Mercedes 4x4?
