WTA : how to make my car sound louder ?
i'm using the c300 2013. is there any idea how to make the sound more louder without changing the exhaust ? thanks

Because you have to change the exhaust..... How else would it be louder? This is common sense.

remove resonator and/or silencer. how good does it sound. I don't know. but i'm sure if you do a search, somebody might have asked the question already.

Open windows and put a cd of car sounds in, and turn up the volume! I'll record my exhaust drone and put it into continuous loop on a cd for you. $20!

All jokes aside. this is what i did on my 2013 c300. get a x pipe installed. Then if you want it to be louder then put performance mufflers or straight pipes. I did the straight pipes but i'm going to put performance mufflers this week (since im doing exhaust tips and diffuser at the same time)

Initially I installed the Meisterschaft GT exhaust... but after 4 months I couldn't stand the constant droning sound so I just removed it and went back to stock. Then I went more conservative with just x-pipe and straight pipe in front as you see in my picture. By far much better since you only hear it when you really floor it and not that constant droning sound that will drive you insane. But to each their own I guess...

I love the x pipe and straight pipe noise! The drone doesn't bother me. But it gives my girlfriend a headache. so i decided im going to add performance mufflers (magnaflows) while doing the quad tips and diffuser set up. Plus i get the low end torque back

So if you don't mind the constant droning sound inside the car without pushing the car, you should go with the Meisterschaft GT full system. Not that expensive at all and really easy to install. And I'm sure the sound will be better than anything you've heard so far.
