W204 C300 with Brembo GTs
Granted using such massive brakes on the C300 would be overkill, but it never hurts to have better braking capabilities (as you'll see in some video comparisons later). Plus, truth be told, we can't help but admit that the brakes just look awesome on the car. The car is completely stock except for the brakes.
Before installation. Stock brakes still on the car.

Brembo GT Calipers.

Brembo GT discs.

Brembo GT caliper brackets.

Stock front brakes.

Front brake system installed.

Rears installed.

Cleaning out the brakes, making sure for a clean (both figuratively and literally) installation.

Bleeding out the brakes.

Front's all done.

Rear's all done.

All done at the shop.

Next up, we took the cars to the track to do some testing. We took two similar Mercedes Benz W204 C Classes and hit the track. The difference? The silver C class is fitted with the Brembo GT brake system while the other is on stock OE brakes. Comparison tests done at 80kph (50mph) and 100kph (62mph) where each car performs an emergency stop. Guess who edges out and brakes faster?
At the track.

The stock C class with an Italian stallion for some company.

Helmet for safety!

We slapped on some stickers in order to identify the C class with the Brembo brakes on it.

Slapped on some cameras as well to capture the test.

The two C classes.

The test: Accelerate and maintain the selected speed for the test, perform full emergency stop once crossing the finish line.

Under hard braking.

Silver C class with Brembo GT kit edging out it's competition under hard braking.

Here are some videos of the tests we did. Essentially both cars would accelerate up to the desired speed, 80kph and 100kph and upon crossing the finish line on the track, both cars would do an emergency brake. Whatever car crosses the line first doesn't matter since both cars would be maintaining their owns speeds and both drivers were instructed to slam on the brakes when their own car passes the finish line. Plus, it turned out to be very difficult to keep both cars side by side during acceleration as one driver would put their foot down a tad quicker than the other, so we eventually just decided on keeping the cars in cruise control and the car do it's job of maintaining our speeds at the moment we cross the finish line.
Granted this isn't a scientific test (rim sizes, tire types are different -the white C class actually had better tires) in any shape or form, the results can't be denied that the GT kit really slows the car down much better. At the end of the day, it never hurts to decrease your braking distance by an extra 15 to 18+ feet.
After that, we took the cars out on the track for some fun!

Overall, it was a fun day at the shop and the track!

Ride wise, it was definitely stiffer and more compliant. Handling improved but going over potholes and bumps were not as fun. I would also recommend replacing your shock with one that would match the Eibach's lower ride better.
Coming from the Supra World, Stoptech's do not stop better, nor do brembos or AP racing, in the regular daily driving world, usually. What they do offer is increased capacity and longevity to keep braking and braking and braking, alas racing.
Never the less, the car does look really good with a set of Brembos!

just the fronts cost the same as an AMG brake upgrade.
