Good question, the Coupe and Conv 500 are pretty rare over here so I didnt know they had bigger brakes, but when I checked pricing its obvious I should have went for the 500 brakes as they are cheaper than the 350 brakes I bought

Wagons are cool. I never seen wagon in US. Don't think they sell them here I wonder if steering wheel can be easily swapped over to 09 C350...? Love it.

New car looks great!
The steering wheels are interchangeable- it's been done but of course its both the wheel and airbag required.

Do you have people ask you if it's Blue?
I love the color but I'm tired of saying "No! It's Diamond Silver"
I really wish they offered the Estates in the US.
Are the C350 rear brakes the same as the C250/300? I have the C250 Sports PLUS package which has the larger, upgraded brakes. The fronts are obviously 350 but not sure about the rear.

My workbuddies refer to it as gay or baby blue

If you have the larger 350 brakes in the rear, the rotors are vented, the smaller brakes have solid rear discs.

I dont know why Daimler havn´t released the wagon in the US as it is available in any other market, but i guess they want to sell more GLK.s instead.

Over here the wagon is way more popular than the sedans, the Volvo V70 is by far the most common car on the roads.

Recently ordered a US spec gear shift indicator, the EU models doesnt have the selector light next to the boot.

Small detail, but I like it

I also have a complete OE rear view camera waiting for install as well as a new MFK camera unit wich has support for traffic sign recognition.

Hope the wife spares me some extra time up ahead

Since my S204 doesnt provide the "umpf" that I crave I wanted to share my other C-Class

Here.s a clip from a streetrace at the end of last summer:
the car can be seen at the 4:40 mark

W201 with a turbocharged M104, putting out 621 bhp

Looks great!!

Do you happen to know if the coupe grill is an easy fit to the pre-facelift sedan?

It is an easy fit, there is no difference between the facelift and pre face facelift grill except for a bracket

You need a new top bracket and you need to remove the top plastic radiator cover to access the bracket screw, after that it just as easy as replacing any grill on the 204

So am I, but I dont want to fit them until I have mounted my coilover kit, I ordered the kit from US two weeks ago and they still havnt showed up

Also a bit interesting to fit the rubbers as I have an "oldschool" tire machine *phew*
