This and that.
Goodbye C350
And hello C63!
So after doing tons of mods and trying to make the C350 look like the C63 (which it did to an extent), I finally caved and picked up a C63. This morning when I woke up I just randomly happened to check my local dealer's inventory and they had a fresh 2011 C63 in stock. I went into check it out and before I knew we were talking numbers and signing papers.
So I will know by Monday if everything is a good ahead and all numbers work out. If so, next week at some point I should be picking up the beast with the P31 package! The x-pipe and quad tips conversion on the C350 contributed to the sound a bit, but nothing comes close to the roar of that v8 beast and I can't wait to have it under my foot at all times!!
I will update with pictures shortly! Just excited, so thought I'd share my excitement!

It's sort of hard to let it go after all the time and effort that went into it, but that's the only way to move on to bigger and better things. Right now, I say that I won't be doing anything to the C63 but I can already think of a few things like the tint, cf lip, diffuser etc. We'll see I guess, I will find out tomorrow for sure if everything is a go and probably get the car by Thursday.
As for the mods, I don't think I will bother with removing them and selling them. They will most likely just go with the car cause it's just too much hassle taking them off and installing the stock parts. I will have a few stock things to sell like the grille, exhaust tips, resonator etc. Wouldn't mind keeping the CF diffuser for C63 but that means I'd have to go to a shop and pay them to remove the quad tips too and that's just too much work.
