** Our NEW MERCEDES!!! Plus more! **
Hello everyone. Always wanted to join these forums but never really got around to it until now. A little about me.
I've always been into cars for as long as I remember. I had a few used cars when I was young but my first Brand New car was a 2000 Acura Integra GS-R. The first car I really started modifying. I had TONS of mods. The mods would be too long to list but the boosted project had the car pushing over 500wHP in a 2500lbs car. You can imagine how scary fast it was.
(Pics before it was Boosted)
I had spent so much $$$ into the Integ, I realized I could have bought my dream car (at the time) E46 ///M3 for all the money I spent. So that's exactly what I did. I put the car back to almost stock, sold the car and all the parts. Put a huge down payment on a Brand New 2005 BMW E46 ///M3 in Alpine White and fell in love with BMW ///M cars forever.
Mods:
- K&N 63 Air Charger Intake
- StreamLine Engineering Filter
- ECIS Custom Fiberglass Heat Shield
- Supersprint Race Exhaust
- Eibach Pro-Kits, Bilstein Shock
- UmNitza Predator ICE LED Angel Eyes
- Prolumen D2S 6000K HID headlights with auto-leveling
- Prolumen 6000K HID Fog Lights
- Shadow Black Kidney Grills
- Shadow Black Side Gills
- Front & Rear BMW Carbon Fiber Roundels
- BMW Carbon Fiber Steering Wheel Roundel
- Smoked Corner Lenses
- Alpine White Front Bumper Reflectors
- Alpine White Key Hole Cover
- ACS Fucy Carbon Fiber Lip
- ///M Black Out Kit
After 5-6 years of ownership, I decided to sell it and get something bigger for the family to be. I went out and test drove a lot of 4 door Sedan beasts available. E63 AMG, ///M5, RS6, CTS-V, Panamera Turbo, etc. It was a tough decision and it pretty much boiled down to the E63 AMG and E60 M5 in the end. AMG is a torque monster with gobs of it down low and excellent mid range power. Really gets the thing moving in city driving. Very comfortable and easy to drive too. You don't have to think at all. Just gas and go. These were all great but lacked the crisp handling, road feel, top end power, transmission was not for me, and kicking the tail out with control was out of the question. E60 ///M5 lacks torque down low but makes up for it big time in the Top End. LOVED the All Motor V10 with 8,250rpm redline. Some people hate the SMG transmission but I actually loved how hard each gear shift snaps you back like a bucking bull. Very similar feeling of Ferrari. Great sensation and love the mechanical feel.
(Test drove the new F10 M5 and just didn't love it. I honestly would rather have the new E63 AMG S V8 Bi-Turbo as opposed to the F10 M5 if I were to choose a Bi-Turbo V8 Sedan). I'm an all motor guy at heart although boosted applications can be tuned very easily and push crazy HP.)
Anyways, two very fast cars but VERY different characteristics. When you gas it, the AMG PUSHES you but feel the power dying out towards the top. Then when it gets to the next gear and the rpm's fall back in the mid range, you feel the torque again. Feels great especially in the first 1-3 gears. ///M5 V10 on the other hand PULLS you with no end to its 8,250 rpm redline. It gets faster and faster as you climb those gears. It's pretty intense. It's not that impressive before 4k rpms but anything after that, you just go without stop. Those mph climb so fast, it's scary sometimes because when you look down... you're already at 150mph and it doesn't even feel like it. A highway killer.
After a lot of test driving back and forth (my local BMW & Mercedes dealership is right next to each other), I went with the E60 ///M5 in my favorite color Interlagos Blue. Please don't hate as I have respect for both AMG and ///M. I know I'm in a Mercedes forum but we're all Munich Monsters.
Ultimate reason why I chose the M5 was because I love High Revving All-Motor cars with good road feel and response. I like cars that feel mechanical and engages the driver a lot more. I don't really drive fast when cruising so low end/mid range torque is not necessary. Besides, when you punch it, you get past 4k rpm's in an instant so not a biggie. When I want to go fast, I always redline my cars so it's really all about Top End for me. All in all, that V10 was just to die for. What a MONSTER of a sedan. When that V10 screams all the way to 8,250rpm... it's really something. TOP END is AMAZING. Just pulls and pulls with no stop. 80mph-180mph pulls like a freight train and I must admit... I'm a fan of highway rolling races as opposed to races from a dig. 0-60 and 1/4 mile are just too short and end too quick for my taste when talking about 500HP+ cars.
I added some tasteful mods after the purchase. ~560HP+, 8,600rpm Redline, faster shifts, straight pipes to really hear that V10 scream, etc.
Mods:
- RPI Ram Air Scoops
- RPI Intake Block Plates
- RPI Pulleys
- BMC Racing Air Filters
- Straight Pipe Exhaust w/ 3.5" Tips
- SMG Euro Tune
- EVOLVE-R ECU Tune
- Ice Lite H8 Angel Eyes
- LCI EURO Tail Lights
- Bruce Miranda V6.1 Cables
- License Plate LED Lights
- Blacked Out Front/Side Grills
- Hamann Carbon Fiber Lip
I might G-Power Twin Supercharge it down the road. Can't wait to see how that will feel.
Pic of my daily driver:
2002 Audi A4 1.8t Manual. I do have a special place in my heart for Audi's as well. This is my 2nd one.
Finally onto the new MERCEDES!! Purchased for the Wife. Since I passed on the E63 AMG and went with the ///M5, I wanted a Merc in the family so it was a no brainer.
2013 Mercedes C250 Turbo AMG Package
Might chip it down the line. Great little zippy car. Surprisingly quick! I love the AMG wheels. Wife wanted the C63 AMG but told her it was too fast for her. She just liked the Quad exhaust tips. Doesn't care about speed. It would've been an overkill.
Anyways, I look forward to reading and learn more about these cars.

Welcome to the forums! Great selection of cars btw! Though I'm not saying you can't post here in the C63 AMG forum, I think it would be more beneficial for your C250 in the Sedan C-Class (W204) section since the C63 is quite different than the other C-classes. TBH, I personally don't know jack-squat about the other C-classes below the C63 besides their engine displacement and power.
That being said, I have driven a 2013 C250 as a loaner, and I have to agree that it's a very well made car! Though it's not fast it's extremely smooth. Plus, the gas mileage is decent if you don't mash on the pedal.
A chip mod would be nice. I would also suggest changing the suspension or lowering it because I found that it's a bit twitchy during some high-banking turns on the freeway. But that's just my preference.
A side note, I bought my 2009 C63 from Uniquely San Francisco as well! Great group of people...even though one of the finance guys got a little ticked when I didn't want to purchase the extended warranty. Lol.

While OP has some good cars in there but WTF.
Ugggg ... Went thru all those pics and **** abt brand new integra with gazillion HP to ulyimate handling - red lining to sky - BMW Ms.
Kept scrolling excitedly to see what did OP really buy.
Maybe an E63 -
maybe a CBS.
Naah..
Nope .
Zilsch.
A freaking C250. With AMG wheels.
Thanks for wasting my morning 5 mins. also this should have been in non-AMG C sedan section.

It was like reading the game of thrones and wanted to read more about Daenerys Targaryen's **** (C63), but all I got was Brienne of Tarth (m5).
Joking aside, nice stable.

The normal C250 is a turbo. AMG doesn't do anything with the M271.
Congrats on the purchase - there aren't enough of us sedan guys out there with the 7 spokes. IMO, easily the best looking wheel on the C.

Yea, I don't think the package does anything to the engine. Just suspension and wheels I think.
One of the best things I liked about the new C250 was the Steering Wheel. Mercedes did such a sweet job. Love the Perforated Leather handle and flat bottom design. Wish BMW did the same.
So I went out and bought myself a new DCTMS ///M Stitched Carbon Fiber Sports Steering Wheel w/ Perforated Leather + Flat Bottom Steering Wheel today. LOVE how it looks and feels.
