Service B - Money Grab?
I checked out two dealerships and it seems they are very similar.
Service B seems like a money grab.
W.I. Simonson "Service B" Special
From $329.96 Plus Tax
Fletcher Jones "Service B"
1998 and Later Models:
Ok so an oil change, dust cover change, and car wash (no thanks) for $329? It seems like they will do half this anyway if I come in for a issue.
Obviously an indy will be cheaper but I just don't see the value.

Others value the chance for a trained expert to cast his eyes from bumper-to-bumper and maintain and identify issues with their high end car. If someone doesn't see the value, that's fine and just a different set of values. Personally, I wouldn't let anyone from a quick oil change place within 20 feet of my car, based on experiences earlier in life with appalling incompetence and lack of knowledge.
My car is handled by one tech, a trained expert who knows the car inside and out and can easily and quickly know if all is well or not. For that, I don't mind paying, although our prices are less than the ones the OP listed.

While I do not support the money making machines at stealerships, I definitely do not support Jiffy Lube etc., either.
If there is something I absolutely do not want or can not do, I will visit an Indy shop. Kind of a safe medium between the two.

I dont know how it works in Murica, but over here you get 24hr free road assistance complete with travel costs, loaners and free hotel stays as long as the cars is serviced at an authorized dealer, valid up to 30 years
You also get a much higher successrate when applying for goodwill when your warranty has run out.

While I have always had my car serviced at the dealership, I don't use the A/B service routines. Thankfully MB of Buckhead has a $99 full service oil change and RBM will match it if requested. It turns out that if I perform my own filter changes and let MB handle the oil/brakes, this is a pretty inexpensive car to own.
