Question North American source for a PCMCIA adapter?

Hey everyone,

So I've been trying to track down a PCMCIA adapter for a month now.
I ordered one from ebay that came from china, over a month went past, it never came, I ended up getting a refund.
So I ordered another one the other day, also from China, I just got an email saying the seller is out of stock.
I don't want to wait another month for this damn thing. Ebay is not showing the proper one (SDHC compatible) in North America.
Anyone know a source in the US or Canada for this that doesn't cost a lot?
The ones from china were under $20 including delivery.

Thanks!

I ordered mine from China, from a seller on eBay called gigacity...was shipped quickly and works perfectly on my 2010 C350. Search "PCMCIA Mercedes"

Thanks.
Unfortunately, the Giga City place is out too.
I found this one:

Is it like yours?

Amazon for $11.89 US. I bought along with 64GB card and they work great.

That looks very similar, but it's impossible to say if they're the same. The one I bought was actually the second one, because the first wasn't recognized by the car. I found one at Memory Express that was a USB input, but that didn't work because it wouldn't seat all the way into the slot.

Unfortunately it seems to be hit or miss.

This is for a Compact Flash adapter, not SD.
You're looking for an SD adapter, right?

My bad! Good catch.

Try this one. It even says it's for Mercedes, which is BS as it's PCMCIA.

Trying to buy something from Amazon has just added more fuel to my instatiable hatred for that website:
"There is a slight problem with your order, we cannot ship to that address" (Any Canadian address)
That's a bit more than a "slight problem."
I searched for the equivalent item on Amazon.ca, to no avail, or they want more than the item is worth to deliver it. I hope that site goes out of business, It's such a joke.

Anyway, China it is. Thanks everyone.

I guess I got lucky last year when I got a genuine MB adapter for 30-something bucks shipped off a seller on Ebay.

But yeah, there are plenty of adapter that will work. There is a long thread about them somewhere here, just search for it and you'll find it.

SLK55 AMG
Just received mine from China off ebay for $26 + free shipping. Took a little over a week.
Works perfect with SDHC.

Can't believe my 2011 Eclass uses 1990s PCMCIA tech while my 2009 SLK55 has a small slot for the SD card only.
