oil capacity
does anyone know how many quarts of oil a 2012 c350 sedan takes, the owners manual does not state

Check you Owners Manual under Fluids. Mine is on page 349 for a 2010 C300. It shows the 2010 C350 as taking 8.5 quarts and the 4MATIC is 7.4 quarts.

Confirm in your manual though.

Could u lead me to where u got 8.5 information, thanks. I called my dealer and they said its 7.5 qts.

I'm sorry- it appears the info I received was incorrect, but the Owners Manual info doesn't look right either. The US C350 and C300 4-MATIC share the same engine and 4MATICS usually take LESS oil. The manual shows the 4MATIC taken more????
According to the 2013 Owners Manual:
Filling capacities
The following values refer to an oil change including the oil filter.
Model Capacity
C 250 BlueEFFICIENCY 5.8 US qt (5.5 l)
C 300 BlueEFFICIENCY/(Canada only)/C 350 BlueEFFICIENCY/C 350 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY (Canada only): 6.9 US qt (6.5 l)
C 300 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY: 7.4 US qt (7.0 l)
C 63 AMG With external oil cooler: 9.0 US qt (8.5 l)

My information above is correct. 8.5 for C350 and 7.4 for C350 4MATIC. US Spec (but I imagine they're the same).

My 2012 c250 uses 8.5 qts, how does the 2013 go to 5.8? :S

or im mistaken and its 5.8.. snap.. manual says 5.8 i think i put 8.5 in mine the last oil change.. I better go check and drain it.
