Why not use the same size tires all around?

Don't use your back rims for a spare on the front that's for sure didn't want to drive in a rain storm with the spare on the front and not thinking the rear rims would be wider and messed up not just one tire and rim from a pot hole but two rims and tires from it rubbing on the strut / shock and then to find a set of 4 17inch rims with 5x112 and a 66.6 center bore well that's like finding a needle in a haystack was not a fun day anyways

Same size tires all around are fine....and then you can rotate, just like on the Luxury model. Use the front size 225/45-17 for all four. It will fit up to an 8.5" rim, which is what you have in back. Staggered tires are not why the ride is harsh...that's the suspension calibration and the particular type of tire you now have. If you are trying to improve ride quality, look at tirerack.com surveys for Grand Touring All Season and consider any of the top 5...you will see their relative merits.

There are a number of threads in this forum that talk about wheel and tire sizing, stock and aftermarket, like here or here. There are also other resources, like tirerack.com, that show you the stock and optional tire sizing. I think the Owner's Manual lists the different wheel and tire sizes, too (as listed out in post #20 in that 2nd thread I linked above). With that information and one of the bazillions of tire fitment websites (like www.willtheyfit.com, for example), it should be very easy to find what 19" tires will work.
