2012 headlights on 2008?
Will the 2012 headlights fit on a 2008? If so do they need to be programmed?

no... there is very little compatible between the PFL and FL models
and if you just have a quick look at the FL lights you'll know why

I phrased that wrong. I know I will need new hood, fenders, and bumper but will the wire harness and the mounting points fit?

no they will not. what you ask is possible but do not underestimate the amount of work and materials needed. Even the SAM module is different on the facelift models.
even your facelift bumpers will not fit plug and play style

Isn't it cheaper and less hassle just to sell your PFL and buy a FL model if you're proposing so many changes just to change the headlights... bumper, fenders, hood, repaint, not to mention all the new wiring...

I could understand if it was just a simple swap out.

i have a 2008 c200, my facelift is in progress, external mirrors, tail light and wheels done.

Next step: bumper, lights and grill for the next week, i will put some photos
