My C300

I hated the rims, though. So I fixed it:

Then it had to go into the dealer for some work and they loaned me a Lux model, with a standing star on the hood. I came from a 2005 C230 Sport with a standing star and until this point I didn't realize how much I missed that traditional touch on the sedans. So I fixed that, too:

And halogen headlights suck, so thanks to TRS..

So now I have it pretty much exactly how I want it as far as exterior looks. I plan to eventually do an Infinity speaker upgrade like a lot of people here. But first I am seriously considering an OE tune.
There was a lot of contention back a few years ago about the W203 VS W204, which was better, etc. I drove my W203 from 25,000 miles to 146,000 miles without ever having very significant issues. My W204 now has 20,500 miles so I've put 9,000 on it. At this time, and my opinion may change as the miles roll on, but the W203 was the better one. I still like my 204, but I liked my 203 more. The 203s had different seats for the Sport trim where the W204s all have the same seats and they're really just not very comfortable over long hauls and they have no lateral support at all. The W204 has more creaks and rattles than my W203 did, as well.
All of that said, I still do enjoy the W204.. and hope for many more miles with it.
Too bad, just came back from sitting in a couple of different trim levels of the current 3-Series, plus two 5-Series. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. Makes me want to try and locate a wrecked E90 and try to adapt the seats to the W204. Really MB, what were you thinking?
Its why my FORD has 47k miles and the C300 15k miles, although I have owned the W204 longer.
I know what you mean about the appeal of the classic grill and star. I have switched back and forth a few times depending on my mood...currently running classic grill with flat hood ornament.
I would recommend the OE Tune as well. I did it a few months back and it makes a noticeable difference. It's not quite to the level of the C350s but definitely has more grunt across the rev range. I bought the flashloader that allows you to switch tunes in case you are taking it in for service, running 100 octane fuel or even a "valet" mode.
