There is, but its not very big if you drive economically in either setting. Minimizing acceleration, maximizing coasting by using your brakes as little as possible, and maximizing time at a constant speed will optimize fuel economy, as viewed in the eco display on your 2013. Being in economy will make it easier to optimize acceleration, I think, because I notice that half throttle in sport will get you going much quicker than half throttle in economy.

Oh okay I was just curious on that. The gas part didn't matter to me. Just wondered why they just put the economy on this year. How do you like your car? What color do you have? I regret not getting the push button to start and when I purchased my car I thought it came with back and don't sensor. I think I got ripped off

Do you mean the Eco start/stop feature? I've heard some figures saying that it's an across the board 5-10% increase in fuel economy. I just leave it on because it's almost impossible to notice. I have the parktronic sensors, I use them but definitely don't rely on them. They also do not work on low curbs, you'll still take your bumper off if you're not careful. My car is white, and I love it. I may have jumped the gun as far as considering other vehicles, but I'm still very happy.

I've always argued that a light foot has more affect than anything else when it comes to gas consumption... its hard to not want to drive in S mode 100% of the time!

Yeah hey did your headlights come Hid? Mine didn't and I regret not asking about it. At the time of the purchase I was too excited to notice next car I buy I'm gonna be very cautious!

I live in a cooler climate, so there has only been a few days where it has got too hot in the cab because of eco. It works pretty good in the winter here.

eh the usual, 3 series BMW, cadillac ATS, the 2014 IS 350 would probably be a contender. I had the same problem as you, jumping the gun because I was excited. But I'll definitely make a more informed decision next time.
