I went the topsider route with one I bought from West Marine. Piece of cake to do. Warm it up, snake the hose down the dipstick tube, pump away until it gurgles.
The filter is a 24mm nut (or it might be 27... Check on that) on the back of the engine righht side in a canister that on mine says "Turbo" inside an orange stripe. Put a rag under it, unscrew it counter clockwise. When you remove it - the filter element pulls straight off of the center tube of the cover. It will seem like you are going to break something, but you won't - just pull hard and try not to make it rain used oil when it comes loose. The 3 O rings on the canister lid Ned to be replaced - they come with the new filter. They can be tricky to get on and off.
All in all, it is one of the easier cars I have changed oil on - using a topsider that is. I really didn't want to struggle with trying to get the belly pan off of it on ramps.
