OEM rear view camera

Hi Everyone,
I am sorry to write in such an old thread, probably most of you already have bought newer cars, however I recently got a C 350 CDI from 2013 and I really wanted to have a genuine rear view camera. I went to my local dealership (Silver Star, the official Mercedes dealer in Bulgaria) and asked them for the kit described here, however they told me they never heard of such kit. I gave them the number presented in the 12th response: A2049055303, however they told me that this number at least according to their system is invalid. I gave the vin number of the car: WDD2040231A878062 and they told me that the retrofit would cost me 1600 EUR... which seems like too much for a rear view camera especially looking at the prices discussed here.
Does anybody know if there is a new part number for the kit or any other genuine kit that would fit my car?

I'm glad you did as I'm looking to add the backup camera to my 2015 C350 coupe. I have the audio 20 HU and want the camera. Since getting rid of my 2013 C250 Coupe in December, I have managed to park without the camera, but... I think this would be as much about the challenge of installation as the satisfaction of having the camera. I'm also looking into the Becker Map pilot and the larger display. I wanted to retrofit the command unit, but having to install a blower and duct work kind of dissuaded me. Also there is the price. Anyways...
I know MidCityEngineering.com makes a kit for my coupe with the audio 20 but it's $599 and I don't want to spend that much. Can someone provide the part numbers for OEM to add a camera along with the deck lid trim for the camera? I want the look of the finished installation to look like it came that way from the factory. Also can someone let me know if this will work with the multimedia interface for an iPod?
Additionally, I read that I can buy the larger screen and swap it along with the trim and that it will work properly. Is this true? Part numbers for the screen and trim?

I found one on eBay awhile back that had LEDs surrounding the camera lense. This improved my view when it is dark.
