Iphone Bluetooth music
Just bought a 2009 C350. Bummed to learn I could only play my music plugged to the aux in the glove. (Very lame and antiquated for such a new car.) I don't have the multimedia package, just the base model.
So my desperate question is.... is there an adapter or a way to have my iphone stream music through my MB speakers?

I'm wondering if something like this would be a quick fix??

Something like that will work but I would make sure it has a self-contained power source. The one you have linked to looks like it has a AC Wall Adapter.
Look at some of these:

I have the HomeSpot one. It works but I get a lot of hissing with it. Not really happy with it. I need to mess around with it a bit more to see if I an get it to work to my liking.

I put one of the Blackberry branded ones in my w203 and it worked very well. I ended up running an extra power plug in the dash and just have a usb adapter in there to power it on ignition. Works so good when my pops was driving my w203 when I got my w204 it stopped playing in my car and switched to the other when at a traffic light.
Here's the one I got. Think it was cheaper when I picked it up. http://via.sp3cialk.com/3N

If anyone wants I have a used Blackberry music gateway for $40 (half of the new price)
I don't need it anymore because I upgrade from audio 20 to ipod kit.

An update. I bought the Patuoxun® Portable Bluetooth 3.0.
Totally useless, do not buy.
There was a hissing the whole time. AND it only played out of 2 speakers.
Already returned it and looking for something else.

Tune2Air one is the best, but sadly he doesn't have MM, and only has the AUX port, which it won't work with standalone. You can make it work, but you will also need to buy "T2A-1001" from Tune2Air as well.

Well in that case he try the TuneLink Auto. My wife has been using it with her AUX connection for almost 2 years without issue. You can also use it with FM and it will transmit the song titles to your radio etc.
I used it in my c300 for a few months before she kidnapped it.

I found one that works great!
I tried another bluetooth receiver and this one was so much better!
It syncs up automatically every time I get in my car, which I don't think any of the others do. There's no buzzing like another one that I bought. And the sound is fantastic. Also it's inconspicuous. I have it coming out of my glove compartment a little, but it still looks cool.
If there is one con, it would be that my music isn't as loud off my iphone 4s as it is when I hard wired in. But it still goes pretty loud, you're just not going to wake any of the neighbors up with the stereo, but pretty loud for just driving around.

Yes, it does. I also use it with pandora, songza with my iPhone 5 and iOS 7. Haven't tested with android but I see no reason why it should work.

Where did you stick the adapter, could you post some pictures?
Does it auto connect and resume play when you get in the car?
The sound from the aux input is already very low as it is, does the output from this adapter help in anyway?

I have the MM package and ipod kit on my 2009 c300, so is tune2air the highest quality solution for audio streaming sound clarity wise and feature wise?
Or the blackberry / some other aux input module as opposed to the iPod wire based tune2air?
