Supercharger kit for C300, dyno test is around 320hp
my friend installed the Supercharger kit for his C300 3.0L last month
IIRC, Rotrex.
He said Dyno result is around 320hp.
That performance shop have done several C300 already, but it is based in China. u can find C300 Project pics on Rotrex homepage.
I may do this next year.....
BTw, I remember there is a similar Supercharger kit for 350, which generates 400hp

Why? If they are a shop you would think they would clean the engine bay prior to posting pics of what they are offering right.

Its an extremely high compression engine 12.2:1 . Not really suitable for forced induction. If it were a reputable shop that was rebuilding the car with forged lower compression internals and most likely a new ECU and injectors you might have something. A random shop out of China? You're asking to buy a new engine. I'm sure it can be done through enough application of money, but I doubt its worth pursuing. You'd be better off selling and buying the 2015 C400.

I guess I'm going to be "That Guy" and bring this thread back. I have read over it a few times, and with a little research I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to do it instead of reading about it lol. Now this is something that will be done this year. I do have the straining task of adulthood in between lol. Anyway, a little info and worries of mine... I have seen the posts of the C350 with a turbo from Eurocharged. I have talked with them and they only tuned that car, nothing more. That left me in a slight rut, so I contacted a shop near me that has experience with turbocharging N/A vehicles. It is a VERY costly thing to do, and VERY experimental. We're talking between 8K and 20K for a complete install with tuning, a0nd almost no guarantee that you won't have future (20K miles down the road) problems engine wise. I have also contacted the China based company mentioned here "CAP" with the supercharger kit. It's NOT a kit that they offer. Just like the turbo kit mentioned above they only tuned that vehicle and do not offer any kit. I have also contacted a couple other companies regarding either superchargers or turbos for the M272 engines. No one wants to help! I've been told everything from the simple sentence that "we do not offer the kit" to "we have no experience with a kit for that vehicle so we can not recommend one", even so after asking questions about the setup.
The only thing left here in this scenario is to choose a price. Do you go with a reputable shop and run up a massive budget, or find a cheaper alternative. I've chosen the route of the cheaper. There was a little math behind all of it and it will take a little time before I have it in hand in order to start showing pictures, but this is one task that I will not let go. In my opinion they're great cars, so why not try. My worry is the talk of the compression, so here's what I'm going to do to combat that worry. I'm going to install the kit that I've chosen and will slightly explain it below until I actually start bringing it together with more info. Anyway, I'm going to install basically freehand with all the "knowledge" I've hopefully gained until its very near complete then I will communicate when the shop will help me with taking over to make sure it will be tuned properly, and limit most of my worry with damaging the engine. At that point if there is more work that needs to be done (modifying engine components to lower compression, etc.) then I will keep you updated as well.
I chose to go with the supercharger that the China based company used to tune the C300. Jackson Racing has them for sale, but they're obviously not full kits since no one makes a kit for these vehicles, and I will have to add to it in order to proceed. My ultimate plan is to run a supercharger, intercooler, custom made serpentine belt (if I can't find the proper size), and an aftermarket re-circulation valve aka a blow off valve. From there we will see if I need to add or change to the system in order for it to work smoother.

Keep us updated, I looked into Rotex and a lot of civic and BMW owners use them with mixed results. They aren't the best quality from what I hear but they are quite compact and if they can fit a centrifugal belt drive supercharger on a fwd civic, putting one on or m272 should be an issue.

So I've added a few pictures that I found online with regards to the mounting the supercharger. I attempted to make a public Facebook group to show future progress vs posting everything on here, but I will update here as well. Let me know if it's viewable or not. Thanks!

Yeh I see it, man this is tempting ... I sold my mustang long ago after supercharging it and loosing my license because driving with 600whp is just too tempting which is why I switch to a slower 4matic c class but damn maybe il skip the 6.2 swap and get the c63 separately for summer and have the 4matic c300 supercharged as a daily..

Oh yea, it's very tempting. Hopefully it works out well. It'll be my daily too so I'll know how it drives under normal conditions as well as being a "responsible driver" when no one is around lol.

2010 C300 4MATIC........ 2011 C63 AMG.............. 2015 CLS400 4MATIC.....
I don't wanna be that guy, I'm definintely cheering you on, however...
why not just buy a facelift c300 and tune it and make 320hp?
Also if you have a 4matic the transfer case cannot handle the power I'm sure.

Because im committed to this car and if my engine ever goes im swapping a 3.5 anyway lol. Transfer case should be fine since the s550 and e550 4matic use the same transfercase with a v8. I wouldn't be drag racing the car or anything, just nice to have the power when I want it but realisticly a tune 3.5 engine swap would be more realistic as a daily and just buy a c63 for summer as I plan to do.
