So my 2008 c300 had 190,xxx miles. I'm about tp change the oil. Should I change the Trans fluid or not? Someone told me that’s its best not to at that mileage. Any other fluids I should change?

Transmission fluid & filter should be changed every 39K miles.

I can't understand where this notion comes from about not changing fluid on neglected units.

Changing the fluid will always be the best possible thing you can do.

If a transmission fails after a fluid change it would have failed anyway.
