Hey guys, I just purchased my fist MB saturday replaced my BMW (toy) anywho, Im haveing a strange issue with the the tranny... When I shift into Reverse theres a delay before it engages, iv read that the softwear may need to be update/upgraded? So I called my local MB Stealership today they want $393.00 to do the upgrade >_< seems kinda high to me just wondering if anyone else has had this done and what the cost was:


**My car is a 2009 C300 non 4matic** Also Im in the DFW area...

I thought software update for tranny is free. I didnt pay anything when I did it

Software update should be free, you might want to try a different dealer.

Just spoke to another dealer and same thing $350... Hmm I may have to go talk to them in person. Thanks guys!

Lucky you guys have an upgrade...I've been asking my dealer about the upgrade for the last past two years and they say they don't have it

Anyone on here from around the dfw area? That's can suggest the best dealer?

try to reset the tranny, i think you put key in turn to 2 position, put foot on gas peddle and take out key hold foot down for 5 seconds and let go.
