20% in the front is definately not good in California. That attracts cops like nothing. I was thinking 50% in the front and 20% in the rear but havent fully decided yet. I was quoted $140 from this guy my family always goes to just to let you know. Im pretty sure you can't beat 16 because younger than that you wont have your license in Florida just saying so I don't know how much younger you can be?
You're right you are younger than me. I just thought so otherwise, because you said you are only a "little" younger than your cousin who is 21. Anyways, age is irrelevant. Nice work so far!

50% in the front is practically transparent. I would see no point getting 50% on the front side windows, that would be a waste of money. If you want to see a difference at least get 35%. (which will still be a bit transparent but keep you out of the fuzzs' way.)

I got it from a member that was parting out his c250. The overall fitment is like 95% you can see in one of the pics that there is a little gap in the apex of the lip but it isnt that bad. Also the side you see in the pics is a little off but that was due to me not raising it up enough but the other side is perfect. the front end looks so much more aggressive

Hey question on how you plasti-dipped your grille. Did you take out the grille before plastidipping it? Or did you stick cardboard behind it to protect the radiator? If you took out the grille..how did you do it? Is there a good DIY or video you can refer me to? Thanks.

The amount of tint from the driver forward that will keep the California fuzz from taking notice is 0, that's what's permitted. Taking off tint when you get ticketed is a real pain, I had to do that on the Saab 900 SPG I bought while in the USAF. It came from Colorado where the tint was legal, but I got out in California and eventually got flagged for it.
There are times when I really really whish we had TuV here in the US. Yes the inspections are a huge pain in the ***, but the number of unsafe cars on the road in Germany is nil. Of course unlike Americans, they really know how to drive... /stepping off the soap box.

I got the lip from a previous owner that parted out his car. Im not sure on the brand name but the fitment is good As for the license plate I actually used black tie wraps and fed it through the opening in the mesh and ill tell you the plate isnt moving from there. I dont like how the tie wraps stand out though thats why its just temporary

The front lip really changes the look of the car IMO makes it a worlds more aggressive in the front but if you dont want the carbon fiber on a stock car maybe paint it black or color match it to your car if your not looking for carbon fiber

Hey guys just some updates on my car. I got a renntech style trunk spoiler and a roof spoiler both carbon fiber. I dipped the front grill with matte black in the back and gloss bars and star. Also dipped the rims gloss black and peeled the center caps. Just now got my windows tinted 50% in the front and 20% in the rear. Living in cali we have strict tint laws so went light in the front but looks dark in the shade.

Yeah I just basically masked off that whole area around the DRLs including the white paint and just dipped over everything and then peeled off where the glass was for the led's. Really easy to do

I had the chrome trim originally then I saw a member on there did his whole thing to make it look like a bigger vent almost like the black series and I decided to give it a try. It looks great and make it look WAY more aggressive with the front lip I have on it
