I just installed a Morimoto H7 HID kit + Canbus harness into my 2011 C300 and I am experiencing some DRL, eyelid led flicker and passenger side hid ignition delay.
I was under the impression that this kit was solid for W204's. Do I have a bad ballast, bulb or canbus harness?
Here is a video, Can anyone tell me what is going on?
The first attempt is with DRL's off in the dash option. The second attempt (00:55) is with DRL's on.
Had a flickering issue with my passanger side. disconnected everything and reconnected stock bulbs. turned on and ran for 2-3 min. removed and installed H7 kit completely installed and fired right up. hope this helps your issue

Yes, I swapped canbus harnesses and ballasts (left with right) yesterday and everything seems to work fine now. I will continue to monitor it, but its working.

Spoke too soon. Still defective. Sent back one side for replacements.

When I got my W204 I was looking at getting a Morimoto hid kit but they were alot of money and I wasnt even sure what would work in the car. I had hid kits in previous vehicles and they all needed additional replays hooked to the battery so wasnt sure what would work. Found an Innovited kit claiming it works with can-bus for not alot of money so I tried it. Must be 4yrs now and they are still working which is surprising as the ballasts are clearly getting wet. Only issue I had was after installing it there were odd shadows being cast down the road. I read this could be caused by the electrode wire on the bulb so I bought a set of Morimoto H7-B bulbs that has the electrode on the opposite side and the shadows went away. The stock halogen lights are horrible. If anything happens with the kit I would most likely buy the same.
