CPO warranty mileage removed

I just received an email to buy a CPO car from a dealer and in the advertisement it says that Mercedes removed the mileage restriction and made it unlimited mileage on CPO warranties.

I wonder if this is a temporary marketing strategy or if it will be permanent.

This really makes me want to buy a CPO S550 now.

Yes they now offer unlimited mileage for 1 yr or for an additional charge 2 yr with unlimited mileage. They are also offering free service on all CPO, this is on the site

"January 15-February 28, 2014
For a limited time, enjoy two years of pre-paid maintenance service, an unlimited mileage CPO warranty and two months of payment credits on a Certified Pre-Owned Mercedes-Benz."

Ill have to call my dealer and see if this applies to previous in effect CPO cars, if it does then i dont need the extra extended warranty that I have since my 2012 will be covered under the factory and CPO until 9/2016 with unlimited miles and Ill trade it by then

Damm thats a nice deal but if you buy a C300 with lets say 40K miles on it. How many are you going to put on in 1 year or 2 years even to go beyond the 100K 1year or 2 year offered in the past?

The included service is very nice...save at least a $1000 there.

The CPO adds to the end of the factory 4 yr so if your car is only 3 yr with 40 thousand miles you would have another 1 yr plus 2 for the CPO and unlimited miles. So like in my case i do 35-40 thousand a year in 3 yr I'm at. 105 to 120 thousand plus whatever the car had on it to start

The maintain e is a great deal and they will make a couple payments

Miles or kilometers? If Miles...WTF do you do for a living? And...with that many miles a year...is the C-class still the best option to use?

Lol cab drivers put that kinda miles on their car. I can't imagine going more then 25k a year even if you put 100 miles a day plus weekend trips.

35,000 miles a year. I am in the Health Care and have a 140 mile a day R/T commute. 5 days a week and on call a few times a month , just work commute makes for 35,000 + (250 days @ 140 miles = 35,000 plus call backs )

Ive ad a couple Infinitis, Ford SHO, so I tried the sensible choice my last car by going to a Prius . Though it would make sense to save the $ but I hated the driving experience so much that Im now in the C. When you have to spend 2.5-3.5 hr a day commuting you may as well enjoy it and the C250 gets pretty good mpg when you drive sensibly.

i try to use my Road Glide or Jeep a little in the summer to reduce the miles on the car

Is there any reason BMW offers free maintenance while the car is in warranty but Merc is "limited time offer"? I'm not a BMW fan but they seem to have way better service than ours.

Reason why BMW and some Audi cars has this because they want to attract MB customers on their cars. Those two brands are money pit after the warranty but MB is someone reliable. I wont say BME has better service as when I was buying a sports sedan I ask about their warranty coverage and rhe things I ask about are not covered by their warranty. Also the fact that the people in the BMW sales here are so arrogant it just made me not buy their cars and ended back to MB as the MB dealers here in Vancouver are very good (not perfect) and very easy to deal with.
