Removing lower door molding

I've been thinking about removing the lower door molding. Is it possible to remove the molding without having to worry about holes to cover up? I apologies for the newbie question. Lol

The door molding is held on by double sided tape, not screws. So no holes to worry about covering up. Happy Modding!

Wait for a warm to hot day, having left the car out on the sun, get some fishing wire, start from one end and slide back and forth along the length of the molding and you should be able to remove the molding relatively easy including the 3m tape, if there is tape left you can just roll it up with your fingers. Then apply some too gone to clean up any residue. I usually follow this up with some light claying to get everything off, then some light compound, polish, cleaner wax and the sealer wax.

I've also used floss if you don't have any fishing line available.

Yeah, dental floss is not strong enough. I used fishing lines and Goo Gone to remove my rear badge.
If I had a heat gun, it would had been much easier too.
