Convex / anti-glare Side Mirrors (interest?)

Wanted to start this thread to see if there is other interest in this item. I've had full convex mirrors on my last 3 cars and the side mirrors on my 2012 are amazingly bad. If you're interested in full glass replacement mirrors post below and ill update with details as I get them.

I've emailed a few shops who make these for other cars to see if they can make them for the w204, price should be around $100 for a pair.

Yes please! Mirror in our car (driver sides) has a really small field of view.

Can anyone confirm that the mirrors on the 08-11 are the same as the 12-14, and the same on all C-class cars?

If the above is true:
$55 for heated
$45 for non-heated
Minimum first run of 20 pairs.

Yes, w/o blind spot warning I've come close to having a wreck a couple times. I had the convex mirrors (avail from Germany) on my GTI and S2000s- love 'em, real life savers.
Any thought on installation?? When I installed previously I ended up breaking the mirror prying it off.
The passenger side should already be a wide angle mirror. It's needed most on the driver's side in my experience.

I don’t really have any details on installation yet, I am just playing middle man contacting some vendors to produce these as the mirrors are really awful. I’ve installed them on two different Scion brand cars and Mazda 3, in each case the install was pan the mirror all the way left and pry til it pops, turn the mirror all the way right and pry til it pops. If more is needed pan up / down. To install you just “pop” it on.

If we can get enough interest to have these produced I would gladly make a DIY for everyone.

I got a pair of these off ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/140966630982?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_sacat%3D0%26_from%3DR40%26_nkw%3D140966630982%26_rdc%3D1
I love them, I like the arrow LED turn signals on them, looks dope at night.

Please include year of car and if you want heated or not, if interested. We will need 20 each for the 08-11 & 12-14. Heated / non does not matter for quantity.

I'm interested but not sure if my mirrors are heated or not, since we don't get snow here in Hong Kong I doubt it should matter I guess. Also, will these work for a RHD drive car? Yes there is a difference.

I'm wondering the same. I'm guessing a cable for the mirror to defrost vs no-cable.

I'll take either one as long as it's wide lens.

Heated ones have pins on the other side of the mirror (inside) to hook up the wires for defroster.

How do we know if our cars came with the heated option from factory? and will there be any warning messages if we don't use heated mirrors?

What is the difference in a RHD Mirror and I will inquire. Are they different shapes or is the RHD OEM Convex on the passenger side?

From what I understand, LHD mirrors have a different focusing angle on their passenger side for safety issues, this would be reversed for RHD cars. Much as LHD and RHD headlights are aimed at different angles, the mirrors are probably similar. Thanks.
