Techron & it's BASF equivalent are the only ones approved by Benz.

If you run on decent additised fuel already then maybe once or twice a year is more than enough. Injectors clean quickly & easily.

Keep Seafoam well away from your Benz fuel system. I've covered this before & I'm not going to cover it again.

I was wondering if it was necessary to change your oil after using Techron cause I read somewhere that some of the junk that gets cleaned off can enter your engine oil. Is this a rumor ? I feel that if it was required then it would say that on the bottle.

It's an old wives tale. You need to sort the wheat from the chaff on the internet.

I'm 90 days 2,000 miles overdue and sleeping fine. But if something were to happen due to this I'd probably take a permanent nap.
