Tire advice for rotating (4) 18X8 rims

Fellow members:

I'm new to the forum and would like some advice to complement rims that I recently purchased (Falken RT7M - 18X8/40 offset)...see picture below!

My goal is to rotate all 4 tires on a stock 2012 C250 without having it lowered or experience any rubbing. Stock the vehicle has a staggered fitment with factory recommended F225/45/17 on a 7.5 inch rim & R245/40/17 on a 8.5 inch rim.

Can anybody recommend tires that have worked well for them and possibly attach pictures for review.

Thank you in advance for your help!

I'm running 225/40/18 Mich PSS all around, had Nitto Invo's before that. The Nitto's were good but didn't last long for me, the PSS is much better grip and supposedly longer life. But the PSS's are somewhat more aggressive in other areas also, so not sure if you're ok with that.

Knightmare69 - thanks for your feedback, I was hoping that I would be able to go wider than that...maybe 235/245?? If so, what profile would be recommended? Worst case scenario I will go with your recommendation. Thanks

You can run 235s at front but I am not sure if wider than that will be wise as I haven't seen anyone on the forum post wider than 235s at front. Some people run a square 235/40 and that will be perfect for your 8" wide rims as it won't look stretched.

You should be able to go 235, 245 I'm not sure unless you go 35 profile tire maybe? Just to let you know, I'm running +33 offset in the rear with 225/40/18 lowered on H&R supersport and I don't rub at all, given you're not going to lower your car, you can probably get away with 245 but may have to space your wheels a bit to clear the suspension.

Any rubbing? Would love to see a close up of the wheel/fender to see the gap in the wheel well since I am going with a very similar setup in the next week or so.

SO FAR NO RUBBING AT ALL...GREAT RIDE VERY HAPPY WITH THE OUTCOME, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LOWERING WITH THIS SETUP.

Awesome! I think that gap is perfect for me. I was worried about swapping to 18's and needing to lower the car. I want to keep the suspension stock and not have to worry about camber correction and uneven tire wear...especially when the tires are around $200 a pop.

I'm running 235/40 18s all around and dropped the rear 8mm with a thinner spring pad. My rear seemed a bit more jacked up than other C Class and it looks exactly like Yan's without the spring pad drop. I agree that this setup fills the wheel wells nicely without any worry of dragging anything.
