8000K D1S bulbs for OE bi-xenon

I am looking for 8000K D1S bulbs to replace my OE bi-xenon headlights. I am running 8000K LED from Azn Optics for eyebrows and side markers now. Philips Xenon Blue Vision Ultra and Morimoto only have up to 6000K D1S bulbs.
The only place I found some high K D1S is from DDM Tuning

What do you guys think? Has anyone used D1S bulbs from DDM Tuning?
Any recommendation for other places I can find high K D1S?

Thanks!

DDM tuning makes a lot of cheap products... It's basically hit or miss in terms of reliability. However, the bulbs are quite cheap anyway, they might worth a try.

Hmm.. If that is the case I will stay away from DDM stuff for now :|. True they makes cheap products but if their products are not reliable, I would rather slash out some more $ for better quality one. How about iJDMTOY? They sell $80 a pair?

honestly, i think most bulbs are made in china anyway so the price difference between companies is solely the markup difference.

I've had HID from china in my other cars and they tend to last 2-3 years at a minimum

This is kind of random, so sorry for the hijack, but is there any bulb I can upgrade to for the high beams without an HID kit? The halogen color looks bad, and I was wondering if there is a blue or white alternative.

Thanks for the help Terrence. I decided to go with 6000K D1S Morimoto for now. I don't want to sacrifice too much visibility for the blue-ish hue. My 4300K stock xenon headlight is way off the 8000K LEDs on eyebrows and side markers I have now. Hopefully 6000K will match better. Maybe go with a set of 6000K fog light or HID fog light as well.

w204_Generic, you can search for halogen bulbs with higher color temperature to replace your high beams. You can check your bulb type in your manual. For 2011 w204 sport, its probably H7. You can find lots of quality bulbs from powerbulbs.com. For color temperature, about 4000K, 5000K are white; 6000K-8000K are white with slight blue-ish hue.

Thanks. I think I'm gonna get pair of 6000 as well to match my 5000 eye brow led. How long would these typically lasts? I assume OEM will always outlast any aftermarket.

morimoto is good choice!! I am also getting a pair of 6000k D1S bulbs since the 4300k doesn't really match the LED from the xenon package

Morimoto seems to be cheaper too. I bought my eye brow LED on ebay but I don't remember what they're rated at. I can't tell if I should go 5000 or 6000 to match. But I think I need 6000. What do you guys think.

Aznmode, you probably need 6000K. Eyebrows and side makers look like 8000K to me. This is similar to my set up.
Morimoto is much cheaper than the Philips ($160 or 1 bulb, heck no, thank you). I will get a Morimoto 6000K from Aznoptics.

Your's looks more blue I think. Damn it haha. I think I prefer 6000 output though. I can always change out the eye brow. THanks for the pictures.

You should def do a trusted brand. I have 5000-5500k hid bulb purchased off the retrofit source.com the lights are made by Phillips and are called Xenarc Osram CBI. The same stock bulbs found in the f10 bmw's m5 and mercedes s63 I heard. Don't go cheap on headlight bulbs because you'll immediately see the difference and pay for it with longevity and visibility at night. I paid for it with a pair of bulbs off of ebay I paid $80 for. I thought they looked good over the stock just not as bright. Then a buddy of mine with an '10 e63 told me about Phillips having a 5000-5500k bulb for our vehicle. I've had mine in since September of 2012 and the light gets better over time. It's a pure white. It doesn't have a blue tint to it like a 2010 e550 with the lighting package because I believe there rated at 5500k...it also doesn't have yellow like our stock xenon 4300-4500k bulbs.

Most people think stock hid are pure white till they see a bulb at 5000-5500k. My finances car is a vw cc 2013, with the led daytime running lights and the fancy display intelligent lights that do a whole show when you turn the car on at night (pretty cool)... But if you look at the light output, mine are brighter and go further...if you look at the color temp, her lights which always looked white on the road, looked yellowish near mine and proved I had a true high quality 5000-5500k bulb.

But if your trying to match color output and you like the higher temp better, than chose the best route for you. I'm not sure of any high end bulb in the higher kelvin temps, maybe PIAA, idk just guessing about them. Btw do you have stock xenon or an hid kit?

There is. I tried I want to say a bulb from Phillips called diamond vision. This was early last year or so. Had it in for a day or two but took it out. The color was nice but had a cheap feel to it. I also did a stint where I used the same bulbs as my fogs light bulbs. Still not bad but nothing beats the visibility of bright yellow fogs.

The bad thing about the diamond vision lights for high beams and fog to me was that the light itself is blue, not the light output but the actual bulb is blue, So if you look at the front of your car and say the bulbs are in the high beam spot, the headlight housing around that spot looks blue. The car just looked funny so I took them out. Still have both. High beam bulbs are a ***** to change also especially if you have big hands. I would have gotten my fiancé to change them but we weren't living with each other at the time. The fogs were easy.

I have crystal vision 4000k h7 as my fogs now and the stock high beams in. Anything near white in color for the fogs which I use in the rain seems to be obsolete. And you know all about driving in the rain residing in florida. We need some type of yellow lighting.
