Anyone install an alarm with remote start MB204SS?
I have an Xpress Kit MB204SS Remote starter installed in my car (http://www.xpresskit.com/product.aspx?productid=502) it uses the factory panic button to start the car, it also comes with the viper smartstart so that i can unlock, lock, start, open trunk and panic from my iPhone.
Now i want to install a viper alarm, how can i interface the viper alarm with this remote start system and use the smartstart to control the alarm and still be able to start the car and receive alarm alerts on my phone?

I believe the 3903T will work. I know for sure that it will work with the MB204SS and Keyless-Go. The SmartStart will need to stay plugged in to the MB204SS module, I'll have to look into the alerts and alarm arm/disarm from the SmartStart app though.

i used the 3903T, i tried to wire the SmartStart to it and it seemed to work but then i lose the remote start feature since it doesnt pass the signal to the MB204SS. At least with the SmartStart wired into the MB204SS im able to arm, disarm and start the car. i just dont get security alerts on the phone.
I wired a couple of sensors into the 3903t aswell like an extra stinger dual zone shock sensor, and a DEI ultrasonic motion sensor.
Also with the 3903T when one of the sensors connected to it (not the door triggers) went off the full horn wouldn't go off,it was just a quick honk (not loud), i tried using the siren and horn programming feauture but both were the same, it seemed as if the ground that activates the horn relay is too quick for the horn to get full power for a loud blast. i had to wire the horn wire from the 3903T into the factory horn relay and now it works perfect.

Yea you would have to keep the SmartStart plugged into the MB204SS. The 3903T arms/disarms off of CAN so the assumption is when the MB204SS receives the signal from the SmartStart to lock/unlock, the MB204SS uses the same CAN message as the OEM fob, which the 3903T picks up on and acts accordingly. As for the alerts, you would have to connect the alarm trigger input on the SmartStart to the car's horn wire so that when the SmartStart detects the horn honking in an alarm pattern, it sends out the alert.

Would it work if the analog output wires were not enabled in the installation portal?
This was installed by a third party so unless i buy another SmartStart module i have no way of enabling those wires.

Just tested the wire and it does work! Thank you very much! Just hooked it up to the horn output on the 3903 which is connected to the factory horn output aswell and it works perfect.

Ok it seemed to work when I grounded the wire.. But when hooked up to the horn wire it's not working. Is there a certain amount of times that the wire has to pulse In order to send the alert? Or maybe it's not being grounded Long enough?
EDIT: it works, it just seems to be finicky. Like it will only alert me once, then i have to re-send the arm command in order to alert me again if the alarm is re-triggered.
Thank you very much for your help, it's now the way i want it to be and didn't have to spend a fortune getting an alarm installed

Yea, it has to "see" x amount of pulses within y amount of time so that it doesn't send you an alert every time you honk your horn at an animal or unsavory driver.
Glad that worked out for you.

Works great now.. Tested it by disconnecting the horn and setting off the panic, so as not to make too much noise to my neighbors.
After about 4 pulses it sends me an alert on the phone that says alarm triggered. Remote start works, everything works perfect! Thank you again.
